We are seeking consultants/firms for the following assignments:
i. Preparation of Land Use Plans
ii. Hydrological modelling and preparation of flood hazard maps

The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) stands as a distinguished non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to promoting sustainable lifestyles and reducing Nepal’s global footprint. Since its inception in March 2001, SEN has been committed to advancing sustainable development and fostering choices that bolster system resilience. SEN emphasizes research and effective science communication initiatives, spanning from grassroots school-level engagement to high-level policy discussions. Serving as a vital bridge between the public and private sectors, academia, and government agencies, SEN facilitates collaborative efforts in research, capacity building, awareness raising, and advocacy.

SEN, as a local technical partner, is currently implementing a project, Building Agroforestry-based Adaptation plans for Resilient floodplains (BAGAR) with financial and technical support from Heifer Project International Nepal (HPIN). The BAGAR project aims to address climate change vulnerability in two project locations:
i. Madhesh Province: Rautahat District, Gadhimai Municipality
ii. Bagmati Province: Sindhuli District, Marin Rural Municipality, by regenerating floodplains through ecosystem-based agroforestry.
