A five-days long training program on “BTOPMC : A Distributed Hydrological Model” was completed on 23 September 2011.The training program was jointly conducted by the Center of Research for Environment Energy and Water (CREEW), The Small Earth Nepal (SEN), and International Research Center for River Basin Environment-University of Yamanashi (ICRE-UY) .
The resource persons for the training were Associate Professor Dr. Khada Nanda Dulal (Kantipur Engineering College, Tribhuvan University, Nepal), Assistant Professor Dr. Jun Magome (ICRE-UY) and Dr. Vishnu Prasad Pandey (ICRE-UY). Fifteen participants including graduate students and mid-career professionals from various institutions participated in the program. The program was much fruitful to those students doing their master’s thesis based on basin modelling. Besides training, the program opened opportunities to conduct virtual classes: both for basic knowledge and advance courses.
