The final dissemination workshop (13 – 15 February 2019) for the project was successfully completed in the Greenery Resort Khao Yai, Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima Province of Thailand. The project partners – The Small Earth Nepal (SEN), Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), Deakin University Australia, and Department of Meteorology, Sri Lanka presented their project activities and shared the findings. Along with the project partners, government representative from Sri Lanka, governmental and non- governmental representatives from Thailand were also participants of the workshop. Beside the country report presentation, training on risk assessment methodology and econometric modelling were also provided to the participants. Likewise, presentation on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) interventions for floods, and Flood Early Warning System (FEWS) were made in the workshop. A field visit to Chao Phraya River Dam was also organized to show the river flood management in Thailand. Dr. Madan Lall Shrestha, Mr. Arun Prasad Bhattarai and Mr. Nammy Hang Kirat participated and presented a paper on flood early warning system in Nepal. The three-year project was supported by the Asia Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN).
