On March 26, at the auspicious occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Central Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Tribhuvan University (CDHM TU), The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) and CDHM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for research collaboration. The head of the department of CDHM, Dr. Deepak Aryal, and Mr. Dinesh Bahadur Amatya, General Secretary of SEN signed the MoU with a goal to provide a framework for continuous engagement in research and capacity building programs in the field of hydrology and meteorology. The primary objective of the academic programs in CDHM is to produce skilled human resources that can perform scientific research in the field of hydrology, meteorology, glaciology, and climate change; SEN with its strong focus on research, capacity building, and awareness in these fields can complement the professional requirements of CDHM, and link the science with policy and community. Through this MoU, CDHM and SEN will jointly work to share technical expertise and implement projects, wherever necessary.
