As a part of Nepal National Water and Weather Week 2019 (#nnwww2019), The Small Earth Nepal (SEN), in support of WWF Nepal and American Geophysical Union, is organizing the “Graduate Conference on Water” on 21 March 2019 in Kathmandu.

This year, we aim to promote women and girls in science to recognize their critical role in science and technology. Considering that, we envisioned for maximum participation of women and girls working in this field. The presentations are from women graduates and experts in the field.

The conference will provide a platform for graduates and early career scientists to learn, share and put forward their research and review each other’s work. The workshop aims to address key water-related research issues, gather related facts and figures and provide a further opportunity for developing a research agenda for the future. The workshop will include keynote presentations from experts and papers from graduates in each of the following themes

1. Climate change and water resource management
2. Urban waste water management
3. Water ecosystem and biodiversity
