The training was facilitated by the resource persons from KPBS and included important elements of entrepreneurship skill development such as identification of entrepreneurship opportunities, their selection, market opportunities, the role of women and their participation, challenges and their solutions, and including site visits.
The participants visited Duna Tapari (leaf plate/bowl) industry, vermicomposting, and Tharu and Raji homestays as a part of the training. They learned how such industries and services can uplift the economic status of individuals and communities. The trainees were encouraged to pass this forward to others in the community for better economic development in their community.
