The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) conducted blog writing workshop Session-II on 12 December 2025 as a part of the institutional strengthening activity under the IHE-Delft funded CLASSIK (Promoting CLimAte ReSilient and Socially Inclusive Water Management in the Lower Karnali Watershed Region, Nepal) project. The workshop was attended by 15 participants.
Building on the foundation laid during the first session held in August, the second session focused on reviewing and refining the draft blogs prepared by the participants. The session was facilitated by Dr. Gyanu Maskey and Dr. Anushiya Shrestha from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS), who provided detailed feedback on content clarity, structure, storytelling, and overall effectiveness of the blogs in communicating research findings to wider audiences.
Participants actively engaged in discussions and peer learning. The interactive review process helped participants improve their writing while gaining insights into ethical considerations and publication strategies for research-based blogs.
At the end of the session, Project Lead, Suchita Shrestha emphasized on the importance of the academic blogs as a medium to disseminate research findings to the wider audiences. Participants were encouraged to continue developing and submitting blogs, emphasizing the importance of science communication to enhance research visibility and outreach.
