Operationalizing River Level Sensors in Karnali River under the LEVO project

Following the training on programming and maintenance of the River Level (RL) Sensor from Professor Wouter Buytaert (Imperial College London), a team from The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) traveled to Karnali and they checked and successfully repaired two non-functional RL sensors installed downstream of the Karnali River. One is located at the Ranijamara Irrigation project near the Chisapani bridge and the next is located 2 km above from the Chisapani bridge by the Achaam road. Both the sensors are functional now and logging water level data. The RL sensor of the third station (Kuine, 7 km above from the Chisapani bridge), has a problem, hence taken back to Kathmandu for its fixing.
