On 15 November, 2019, The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Forestry (IoF), a technical institute constituted under Tribhuvan University (TU). IoF/TU offers a Bachelor of Science in Forestry, six Master of Science degree programs in Forestry, in Natural Resource Management & Rural Development, in Watershed Management, in Wildlife Management & Biodiversity Conservation, and in Mountain Environment & Development Studies, along with the Doctoral and Post-Doctoral program. These programs address current forestry and natural resources related needs and interests of civil society in Nepal, topics in which SEN has been working since its inception. This MOU provides a framework for continuous engagement between the two institutions by creating a platform for professional trainings as well as research and action-based programs. The SEN family looks forward to the long-term future collaboration with IoF/TU.
